As part of an interdisciplinary Cloud & DevOps team, you take on important tasks within the scope of projects in close cooperation with our customers. In this job, you use modern cloud technologies, whereby a sustainable design of the IT architectures and a very high stability and availability of the application landscape are important to you. You are responsible for the conception and implementation of cloud architectures based on the defined requirements of our customers. In addition, you already advise within the framework of requirements management and during the conception of the solution.

Your daily tasks will consist of:

• You are the professional contact person and technical advisor for our customers

• You create and design the IT architectures and application landscapes for the customer solution

• You translate customer requirements into cloud technologies and high availability concepts

• You use cloud-based platforms and services such as Amazon AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, etc.

• You manage the team of DevOps engineers using the agile SCRUM process (planning, review, retro, etc.).

• You implement Infrastructure as Code and Automate-Everything (e.g. based on Terraform, Packer, Ansible).

• You implement Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. based on Gitlab, Github, Azure DevOps, AWS Code x or Jenkins) to increase the efficiency of the customer's project.

• You integrate test automation (e.g. based on Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.) and the software development teams in your work to create a common DevOps culture.

• You use established analysis and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Icinga, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Elasticsearch or Kibana and further develop their set-up.

What do you bring to the table?

In addition to a passion for cloud architectures, you have a degree in information technology or comparable training and several years of professional experience in the implementation of IT architectures in interaction with cloud-based services and platforms.

You also have the following skills:

• Enthusiasm for enterprise ecosystems, architectures and technologies.

• Certifications as Azure or AWS Architect/Solution Architect or Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Knowledge of project management, test automation and software development methodologies

• Professional and precise communication skills in German and English

• Professional customer communication and technical team leadership

• High level of personal responsibility and proactivity

• Broad knowledge of the current cloud service portfolio of the big players (AWS, Azure, GCP)
