Our core areas are Data Analytics, Technology, IT, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Strategy, Finance, Risk, Supply Chain & Operations and Life Science & Healthcare.
The Opportunity
As Supply Chain Analytics Consultant you’re part of our ambitious, growing and always fun Data & Analytics team. We work with global customers in a variety of sectors, but mostly focused on Life Sciences, Consumer & Retail, Chemicals, Energy and Healthcare. We aim to help our clients unlock the value that resides within various opportunities in their supply chain, by leveraging more data products in their way of working. Ultimately driving more business process insights, cognitive automation and improvements.
What you can expect
The Supply Chain Analytics team is a group within the Data & Analytics team in Amsterdam and is part of our Europe West organisation. The team focusses on analytical questions across the Supply Chain domain and helps our clients tackle these challenges by putting data, analytics, and data science at the core of our solutions. You’ll play a key role in growing the Supply Chain Analytics team and helping EY’s priority clients to make significant improvements across their global supply chains by deploying market leading data and analytics solutions.
Your key responsibilities
Drive our global clients to optimize their supply chain capabilities by deploying sophisticated predictive, cognitive, or mathematical solutions which utilizes various datasets across the supply chain landscape
Lead client engagements where you’ll provide supply chain functional expertise and translate this into data & analytics solutions. As well as providing project management expertise and act as the “go-to-person” for the engagement teams
Utilizing your entrepreneurial mindset to help grow and commercialize the Supply Chain Analytics team in Amsterdam
Play a leading role in the development, incubation and delivery of sophisticated data engineering and machine learning solutions that can drive organisations to make better decisions
Build strong relationships with global client stakeholders whilst consistently delivering quality client service within expected timeframes and on budget
Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key project stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Support in commercial activities such as client pursuits, proposal development and presentations
To qualify for the role you must have:
Bachelor or Masters degree in the direction of Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other related field with strong quantitative focus, or equivalent experience
More than five years’ experience (preferably including substantial time in Consulting) and in, Supply Chain Analytics context and particular focus on:
Integrated Business Planning
End-to-end Supply Chain Optimization / Modelling
Demonstrated leadership and business development capabilities
Ability to oversee analytics, data modeling and management
Preferably experience with tools like Aera, O9, OMP, Kinaxis, or related
Fluent in English
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet client needs
